Tad Phillips is the Chapter Manager for the Virginia Waste Industries Association. Tad was on the board of directors for VWIA from 2008 to 2022, previously serving as Board Chair in 2013 and 2014. Tad began his career in the industry driving recycling trucks in Houston in 1979, and has held a variety of management positions in operations, sales, and general management with Reynolds Aluminum, BFI, USA Waste, Waste Management, Allied Waste, and Republic Services. Tad most recently was Vice President of business development at TFC Recycling and is currently enjoying semi-retirement with his wife Allison in Midlothian.
