Mary Anne Whitney has been executive vice president and chief financial officer of Waste Connections since February 2021. Ms.Whitney formerly served as senior vice president and chief financial officer (July 2018 - Feb. 2021); as senior vice president - finance (Feb. 2018 - July 2018); as vice president - finance (March 2012 - Feb. 2018); and as director of finance (Nov. 2006 - March 2012). Ms. Whitney previously held various finance positions for Wheelabrator Technologies from 1990 to 2001.

Ms. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Georgetown University and an Master if Business Administration in finance from New York University Stern School of Business.
