Brendon Pantano is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Coastal Waste & Recycling (Coastal). He also serves on the Coastal board of directors.
The company was formed in July of 2017. Under his leadership, Coastal has significantly expanded hauling and post collection operations, forging a path of excellence across all sectors. Brendon has strategically grown the Coastal footprint from a single location in Southeast Florida to 43 locations across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.

Brendon recruited a team of professional, progressive industry leaders and created a company culture of accountability, always keeping the company’s core values of Safety, Integrity, and Customer Service at the forefront of all decisions. He leads with a people first focus and has grown his team to nearly 1700 employees.

A third-generation waste professional with over 20 years of experience in the waste and recycling industry, he began his career working in his family’s waste hauling company in Dunkirk, NY. He gained valuable experience that led him to understand the full scope of the business along with the importance of building teams that provide exceptional customer service. As his career advanced, he held a variety of leadership positions with industry organizations that include Operations Manager at Sunny Farms Landfill: General Manager, Liberty Waste; Vice President of Operations at ELS and District Manager, Waste Connections.

Brendon was recognized by Waste360 in its annual “Top 40 Under 40” program which recognizes inspiring and innovated waste professionals under the age of 40. Brendon often speaks and presents at conferences across the country relating to culture and leadership, organizational growth, and industry best practices. He is a member of FILA and the Economic Council of Palm Beach County.

Pantano resides in Boca Raton, Florida. He and his wife are the proud parents of three children.
