| 10:45 AM - 11:30 AM | Safety Is What Happens When No One Is Watching: A Conversation About Safety Culture | Strategy 1, 2, 3 | Policies and procedures are essential, but they don’t create a strong safety culture on their own. What happens when getting the job done conflicts with doing it safely? Why do experienced employees sometimes take shortcuts, and how can leaders encourage people to speak up about hazards and near misses? Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. This interactive discussion will explore the everyday decisions, behaviors, and leadership practices that shape safety culture. Through real-world scenarios and peer conversation, attendees will share what works, tackle common challenges, and discuss practical ways to strengthen accountability, build trust and make safety part of how work gets done every day. |

The focus will be on real examples, simple techniques for getting better results, and knowing when AI is useful vs. when it isn’t. |
| 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM | Know Your Style: Communicate Better with DISC | Strategy 1, 2, 3 | Ever wonder why you click easily with some people while others seem to communicate on a completely different wavelength? This interactive session uses the DISC assessment to help you better understand your own communication style and recognize the styles of others. Through practical exercises and discussion, you’ll explore how different personality types approach communication, collaboration and problem-solving, and how small adjustments can help you work more effectively with colleagues, customers and teams.
Participants will complete a DISC assessment in advance and receive their individual results to use during the session.
Planning to attend this session? Please indicate your interest during registration so we can send you the DISC assessment in advance. Participants who select this session will receive a link in early January 2027 to complete the assessment before Industry Conference. There is no additional cost to participate, and it’s okay if your plans change later. Indicating your interest now will ensure you receive the assessment and everything you need to participate in the session. |
