We will build a terrarium and hear from the owner of Terrarium Workshops of how building a terrarium requires attention to detail, which can promote mindfulness and reduce stress. This focus on the present moment can help reduce negative thoughts and mental clutter, which is beneficial for those experiencing anxiety or depression. This exercise also provides a sense of achievement, boosting self- esteem and providing a positive reinforcement loop. Watching the plants grow over time also gives a sense of ongoing success and nurturing.
